목은 땀에
젖어 껄끄럽고
기운마저 축 쳐지는데
이 도시엔 그늘 한 점

보도를 걷는 사람들은 모두
반쯤 맛이 간 듯하고
성냥불 보다
뜨거운 더위
하지만 밤이면 딴 세상이 되어
여자를 찾으러 나서지
이리 와서
밤새도록 춤을 춰
더위도 문제없어
도시의 여름에
낮과
밤이 이렇게 다른 건
정말 유감이야
도시에 서늘한 저녁이 오면
멋들어지게 차려입고 폼을 낸

도시 구석구석
헤맬 거야
숨이 가빠 오도록
계단을 달려
올라가
