The dreams and the shadows
that I'm courting won't allow
the slightest chance of knowing
where the roads of tomorrow are going
So I asked myself
what had I done yesterday
to help us all move on?
And the thought that comes to mind
is that you didn't bother to leave none
of the roads that'll take us to tomorrow
What have they done
to our dreams of tomorrow?
The rain child, slick and skinny squirms
in the poison mud that we left him
He's gasping for air with his gills
Because his lungs have
long since been ruined
We've damned up his road to tomorrow

번들거리고 깡마른 비의 아이는
우리가 남긴 오염된 진흙탕에서 꿈틀대며
아가미로 숨을 헐떡이고 있어
이미 오래전에
폐가 망가졌거든
우리가 그의 내일의 길을 망쳐버렸어
