Long ago the skies turned gray
The fallen sun had gone away
and left us cold until one thousand
years would pass and we'd sail away

Trapped within such misery
we'd seen a light
We'd never seen all crowned with gold
through morning mist with tears of ice
see her coming down

All upon our knees

A queen has come before us

I was alone, see how she took us all

Shadows of love blacken dawn
fill the empty skies
with powerful her throne, oh my queen
upon this silent maze of ice

clouds and the snow covered
mountains in the distance, the dawn is

thousand grieving peasants as they
kneel on the shore of what was once
their beautiful city of ice.
And somewhere, far below the surface
of the steamy sea, lies their queen.
As to her fate, no one knows."

어느 옛날 하늘은 잿빛으로 변하고
기울어 버린 태양은 사라지고
우리는 추위에 떨며
그렇게 천년이 흘렀어

그런 어려움을 겪으며
항해를 해 나가다 빛을 발견했어
온통 금으로 덮인 그런 모습은 처음이었어
얼음 같은 눈물이 섞인 아침 이슬을 뚫고
내려오는 그녀의 모습이 보였어

우리는 무릎을 꿇었고
쏟아지는 비를 맞으며
여왕께서 우리 앞으로 다가왔어
우리 모두를 사로잡아 버린 여왕을
쏟아지는 빗 속에 홀로 바라봤어

우린 여왕 곁을 떠나지 않을 거야
사랑의 기운은 새벽을 물리치고
공허한 하늘을
이 적막한 얼음의 미로에
여왕의 권좌로 가득 채웠지

오, 너무도 사랑스러운 그녀

그들은 도시의 성곽 주위에 지른
무시무시한 불바다로
우리를 무너뜨리려 온 거야
도시는 녹아 바다로 흘러 들어서
우리는 언덕으로 멀리 달아나며
눈물을 흘렸지만 어쩔 수 없었어
안 돼요, 안 돼, 나의 여왕이여

빙하의 도시에 사는 당신은 나의 여왕
내게 생명을 주신 당신이 사라지고 있어
잘 가세요, 빙하 나라의 나의 여왕님
그리고 여왕은 홀로 바다로 가라앉았어
