The Bramble Briar, The Mercle's Daughter, In Bruton Town 등 다양한 제목과 조금씩 다른 내용으로 전해 내려온 영국 전통 민요입니다. Davy Graham의 이 버전에는 중간 내용이 약간 빠져 있는데, 귀족 출신 소녀가 하인과 사랑에 빠져 결혼하기로 하지만 이를 못마땅하게 여긴 두 형제가 사냥터에 하인을 데리고 나가 살해한다는 내용입니다.
